Wildfire deemed to be deliberate
Firefighters have extinguished a wildfire in Stoke-on-Trent. Three appliances and the 4x4 ranger attended the scene and found a grass fire measuring approximately 100 metres by 50 metres.

Crews remain at scene of wildfire
We were called at 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday 9 August) to Park Hall Country Park, off Park Hall Road, following reports of smoke coming from the area.

20-acre crop fire deemed accidental
20-acre crop fire deemed accidental A large field fire in Enville which affected roughly 20 acres of land has been deemed accidental following an investigation. A number of appliances were sent to the scene. Firefighters used hose reel jets to contain the fire and stop it from spreading further. It was extinguished shortly after 7.10pm and was later deemed accidental following an inspection.
