Crews tackle Stoke-on-Trent wildfire
Crews tackle Stoke-on-Trent wildfire Firefighters have extinguished a wildfire in Stoke-on-Trent. Four appliances attended the scene and found a fire measuring approximately 500 metres by 100 metres. The fire was extinguished using main jets, backpacks and beaters and thankfully nobody was reported injured.

Crews visit local residents following wildfire
On Sunday 16 August, eleven crews worked to battle a wildfire at Hednesford Hills which measured approximately three-and-a-half-acres. The fire was extinguished using main jets and wildfire hoses and thankfully nobody was reported injured.

We are reminding people to avoid burning waste at home after crews were called to a grass fire in south Staffordshire.
We were called at 2.30pm yesterday (Sunday 23 August) to a field off Swan Lane in Shareshill following reports of a fire.
