Free membership—available now
A Free account lets you save one location for quick access across supported Wildfire Watch clients. It can centre the map, highlight nearby information and make it easier to check a place manually.
Paid Web—planned
Paid Web is intended to provide three shared saved locations, automatic monitoring, email alerts and the complete paid website feature set. Its price and launch date have not yet been fixed...but it'll likely be around £5 a year and it's coming very soon!!
Paid Mobile—planned
Paid Mobile will be a fully featured Wildfire Watch mobile app for Android and Apple devices. It will include everything in Paid Web, three shared saved locations, the complete mobile feature set and push notifications. We're aiming to keep it under £15 a year, with a 7-day free trial. You'll only start paying after you agree to the annual subscription through the app store.
You can't buy the mobile subscription or start a trial just yet. We'll confirm the price and launch details before it goes live.
One account across website and app
Saved locations and membership belong to the account rather than a particular device. A location saved on the website will count towards the same allowance in the future phone app. Paid Mobile will include Paid Web access at no additional charge.
Public incident information and official safety advice will remain available without payment if a subscription expires or is cancelled.
