Fire in the open - Cottenham - South Cambs

10/09/2026 2.32PM At 2.32pm on Thursday (10) a crew from Ely was called to a fire in the open near Lockspit Hall Drove in Cottenham. Firefighters used a hose reel and small gear to extinguish an out of control bonfire and returned to their station by 4.10pm. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
