GN-022481 28 August 2026, 13:43 Docking One appliance from Sandringham attended a fire in the open on Ringstead Road. Crews used hose reel jets and hand appliances to extinguish the fire. The stop message was received at 14:09.

Calls to fire in the open when crews arrived there was no sign of fire. Crews inspected surrounding area on foot.

FIRE IN OPEN - Kinnerley Road, Heathwaen, Knockin, Oswestry
This incident involved a controlled burn of garden waste. Attending crews passed advice to responsible person present with regard to damping down the surrounding area and not to add any further fuel to the fire. Further advice concerning avoiding lighting fires during dry spells was also offered.

FIRE IN OPEN Equipments Hosereel jet , Thermal imaging camera - Sandford, West Felton, Oswestry
This incident was a fire involving 5 square meters of dried grass, ignited by an arcing power cable. Crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish and dampen down the surrounding area and a thermal imaging camera to check for residual hot spots. The incident was left with the responsible utility provider.
