Crews responded to reports of a fire in the open which was was caused by dust generated by tractors working open ground – this incident was classified as a false alarm raised with good intent.

FIRE IN OPEN Equipments Buckets of water - The Quarry, Shrewsbury
Crews extinguished the contents of a rubbish bin which had been maliciously set on fire using buckets of water.

FIRE IN OPEN Equipments Buckets of water , Knapsacks - Field adjacent to Hunter Street, Shrewsbury
Crews attended and assisted members of the public to extinguish approximately 2 square meters of logs and tree branches which had been maliciously set on fire. Equipment used was buckets of water and knapsacks. The Police were informed of this incident accordingly.
