Date/Time: 11 October 2026 - 19:56 Address Abington Close Crewe Attendance Two fire engines from Crewe Details Crews attended an incident in which one gas main had ignited, which then spread to nearby trees. The fire was out on firefighters' arrival. A cordon was put in place, and nearby properties were evacuated. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots in the area, and the incident was handed over to the utility company and the police.
