FIRE IN OPEN - Alcaston, Church Stretton
Crews responded to reports of a fire in the open which was was caused by dust generated by tractors working open ground – this incident was classified as a false alarm raised with good intent.

FIRE IN OPEN Equipments Buckets of water - The Quarry, Shrewsbury
Crews extinguished the contents of a rubbish bin which had been maliciously set on fire using buckets of water.

FIRE IN OPEN Equipments Buckets of water , Knapsacks - Field adjacent to Hunter Street, Shrewsbury
Crews attended and assisted members of the public to extinguish approximately 2 square meters of logs and tree branches which had been maliciously set on fire. Equipment used was buckets of water and knapsacks. The Police were informed of this incident accordingly.
Small fire extinguished in Runcorn
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a small fire in a wooded area in Runcorn. Police were informed, as this is believed to have been lit deliberately.

A crew from Tadcaster responded to reports of a fire measuring 15m by 5m, which originated within the hedge line, then affected a derelict farm building. Crews used 2 hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and wildfire tools used. The fire caused less than 10% damage to the farm building. The cause was accidental.

Vehicle fire
Fire crews are in attendance at a tractor on fire within a field near Butterleigh. Crews from Exeter and Tiverton were on scene and requested a further 2 fire crews to assist with extinguishing the fire which had spread to the field.
